The employee is appointed as a STOREMAN | PULLER to render services generally associated with this position. The employee will be responsible for the following tasks: Receive goods into the company using the appropriate procedure. Ensuring all paperwork is correct and goods received are in good order; Ensure that customer orders are picked and dispatched accurately; Keep the stores in a clean and safe working condition and store goods in the right location in order to maximise sales and minimise waste; Follow the correct procedure for loading and unloading goods; Maintain the warehouse to a safe and clean standard to ensure ease of availability of stock, keep the site clean and tidy to ensure safe working practices and to allow the site to function efficiently and comply with safety legislation; Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule; Performing warehouse inventory controls, stock takes, and keeping quality standards high; Report any discrepancies and communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers; Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations; Support company-wide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers; Be an active functional member of the warehouse team; Respect the need for confidentiality, when processing personal/customer data; and Any other tasks necessary for the conduct of the employer’s business, as the employer may from time to time direct
