Description of Duties
The above-mentioned position is within the Manufacturing Division (Industries) in Bloemfontein.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Oversees and directs the daily work in support of the production supervisor.
Champions and upholds department standards as a role model for other employees.
Ensures all equipment are operating properly, takes appropriate actions to correct any issues.
Assessing risk and ensuring safety guidelines are followed.
Recommend time studies on bottlenecks.
Where needed, perform general labour tasks on the production line.
Take actions to correct any issues and make improvements.
Directly helps the department to meet targets and goals while maintaining a healthy and safe working environments
Maintains productivity that meets /exceeds standards.
Dedicated to create a high quality products that consistently products specification.
Leads and contribute to the team and the whole facility in a positive way.
Qualifications
Should have experience in supervisory
Manufacturing experience will be an advantage
Matric (grade 12)
Strong interpersonal skills to direct the work of others while maintaining composure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, able to speak and read both English and Afrikaans.
Able to perform different machines in the wooden factory.
Punctual, reliable and responsible.
Can work well in a team environment and support fellow team members.
Salary
R60 per hour (40 hour week)
