Description of Duties
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Health & Safety Assistant to support the implementation and
maintenance of workplace health and safety standards to a dynamic team in Brandfort.
The successful candidate will assist in ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and company policies while promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with health and safety inspections and audits
Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation
Support incident reporting and investigations
Help implement safety policies and procedures
Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness activities
Ensure PPE availability and compliance
Liaise with staff regarding safety matters
Qualifications
Grade 12 (Matric)
Relevant Health & Safety qualification
Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety regulations
Computer literacy
Relocate to Brandfort
Advantageous
Previous experience in a Health & Safety environment
First Aid / Fire Fighting certification
