Description of Duties
My client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will contribute
to the design, development, and maintenance of electrical systems while ensuring compliance with relevant standards
and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components
Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation
Evaluate system performance and troubleshoot issues
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects
Conduct testing, commissioning, and site support
Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
Assist with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
Provide technical support and guidance to team members
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Experience in electrical design or engineering environment
Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and safety practices
Proficiency with CAD or engineering tools
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Knowledge of PLC s
Willing to relocate to Brandfort in the Free State
Desirable Skills
Project management experience
Understanding of LV/MV/HV distribution or automation systems
