Description of Duties
Spa Supervisor Job Overview The Spa Supervisor plays a pivotal role in overseeing daily operations of the spa to enhance guest experiences and ensure efficient management of productivity and expenses. This position focuses on maximizing revenue opportunities while maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities Lead the spa’s daily operations, ensuring guest satisfaction and adherence to budgetary guidelines. Assist in formulating annual budgets and developing strategic plans for the spa's future growth. Uphold exceptional service quality to achieve and surpass revenue objectives. Monitor and manage operational costs, ensuring alignment with budgetary constraints. Evaluate daily productivity metrics and compare actual performance against set budgets. Compile monthly reports detailing facility productivity and performance. Stay informed about competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and promotional tactics. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to support spa promotional activities and implement marketing initiatives. Communicate professionally with prospective spa guests via email, phone, and in person. Establish and pursue departmental goals in alignment with overall business objectives. Conduct interviews and recruit Spa Therapists, ensuring a skilled and diverse team. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance staff skills and address development needs. Conduct performance evaluations for team members.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years spa experience working in a customer orientated environment required 1 year supervisory experience in a resort spa preferred Two years in a Spa or Salon a major hotel/resort complex Has 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in the Spa in a luxury hotel Possesses beautician, aesthetician and or therapist certification
